Here’s another digital mixed media experiment! I had this idea in mind for a few days and finally had a chance to sit down with it last night to see what it could look like. I’m really happy that I was able to find this photograph of the stars from 1901, I wanted to work on a collage piece that represented the night sky to make the swan’s connection to the Cygnus constellation stronger.

A little digital mixed media moment. I’ve been really enjoying a bit of collage again, it’s such a fun art medium! I’ve been trying to combine it with my illustration work so I started experimenting with this one today.

After a few weeks of settling into my new design job, I feel like I finally have some energy to work on my personal work. I've had this unicorn illustration in mind since March but I didn't get a chance to start it with all the interviews and design tasks that I was working on at that time. They're finally here now though and it felt so good to at last create an illustration again.

Well, here we are. After losing my patience with my previous Squarespace website I have set out to claim my own little patch of the web!
